We are looking for SharePoint architects to join
our growing team. A minimum of 4 years
experience with SharePoint and .NET technologies
is required. Candidates should have strong
business communication skills, SharePoint
design, planning and architecture experience and
broad exposure to web application technologies
(SharePoint, .NET, ISA, IRM, Project Server,
Report Server, Performance Point Server, Office,
and SQL). In addition, academic exposure to
business information technology is required and
practical experience implementing large
SharePoint farms is a must. Working with
SharePoint technologies on a day-to-day basis,
you will apply your top quality architecture
skills to lead a small team to plan, design, and
architect SharePoint solutions to solve real
customer business problems.
We have challenging work using the latest
business information technology tools. You will
lead a small team in all phases of the
implementation cycle. Our current environments
include:

Windows 2003, SharePoint 2007 and 2003,
SharePoint Designer, SQL Server, Microsoft
.Net, Web Parts, and Report Server
Responsibilities
•
Lead a small team during all phases of
solution design, configuration and
implementation
•
Take ownership of new and pre-existing
implementation methodologies
•
Lead client design sessions and meetings
•
Manage customer QA, end-user training and
documentation
•
Communicate well with customers, architects,
management and peers
Requirements
•
Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering,
Computer Science or related field
•
3 to 5 years experience with SharePoint
configurations, customizations and
implementations
•
Previous experience administrating,
supporting, or migrating large SharePoint
projects
•
Required experience: SharePoint
technologies, databases and web-related
technology, Web Parts, Report Server,
SharePoint Designer/FrontPage
•
Business acumen with ability to understand
business needs and translate into SharePoint
solutions
•
Strong analytical and architecture abilities
•
Ability to plan and organize in complex and
fast paced environments
•
Results oriented, resourceful, team player,
with a mature and positive attitude
•
Must possess sound judgment, and be self
motivated
•
Excellent written and verbal communication
skills
•
Must be available for travel to client sites
in the Greater Toronto Area, elsewhere in
North America
