SharePoint is Microsoft’s answer to a changing work
world increasingly
focused on
collaboration. SharePoint allows employees, teams,
departments, organizational partners and customers
to connect and collaborate through a central
corporate portal. SharePoint’s Web 2.0 capabilities,
including wikis, blogs, discussion boards, and
personal messaging,
will allow your end users to
breakthrough your company’s departmental silos.
There’s a lot more to
SharePoint than the simple uploading and sharing of
documents typically found in
today's
Enterprise Content
Management suites.
Introduction
to SharePoint 2007 is an
intensive,
SharePoint expert-led,
one day introduction to Microsoft Office SharePoint
Server 2007(MOSS 2007). An overview of SharePoint
Server 2007
is
presented
to each student
including an
exploration of the key SharePoint Server 2007
features. The workshop provides an introduction to
SharePoint 2007’s core capabilities including the
Collaboration, Portal, Enterprise Content Management
and Enterprise Search feature groups. Upon course
completion, students will have a complete knowledge
of SharePoint’s available features and their
business value within an organization.
